A Christmas Greeting
by Mike Wilson
"A Christmas Greeting" is a three-part partner song that is very easy to learn. This simple arrangement has students sing each part individually at first, then combines them all on the fourth time around. It's kinda fun to see how it all turns out.
You may arrange the parts in any order you like, or you may choose to make it a two-part piece by leaving out part two, then singing it as a duet two times and at the end.
On the recording, we used a harpsichord, piano, and classical guitar along with strings, winds, and small percussion. This gives the song an orchestral, "proper" feel. But merry, of course.
