Keep Your Paws Off The Carrots
by Teresa Jennings
It's spring, and a young bunny's thoughts turn to, what else? Carrots! All the more reason to keep an eye on the garden. With this simple, yet hip swing tune, your young singers will be able to warn the bunny that his attentions in the carrot patch are not acceptable.
To make it even more fun, especially in your spring or Easter performance, we have included some movement suggestions. These are hinted at by the lyrics, but you can alter and adapt them any way you like. For example, we have kids making "glasses" to see the bunny ears through. But maybe you'd prefer your kids to make the bunny ears at that point. Whatever works best for your gardeners is okay by us.
