Don’t Let Your Phone Ring
by Teresa Jennings
We've all been there. We're sitting quietly in the auditorium listening to the concert, and all of a sudden, someone's phone starts ringing. Or worse, playing some loud song that is someone's ringtone. What a great way to break the mood! So lest your audience forget to silence their devices during your performance, why not remind them ahead of time?
This very, very short song is also very, very simple but to the point! A little boom chick, a little vaudeville, it should be sung with gusto. The "Thank you" at the end could then be spoken more demurely by contrast. Hopefully that will get their attention!
