Fuzzy Little Fellow
by Teresa Jennings
This primary song is perfect for your youngest students' celebration of Groundhog Day. It's simple and it's easy to remember, though you can substitute the first verse for the second one to make it even simpler. The actions that are indicated on the music are fun to do as they are written, but you can change them if you want. For example, have action start at measure 5 instead of the beginning. Replace all actions with either clapping or patsching, or simplify the actions we have suggested by just having them do the same things over and over throughout. Of course, any action at all is optional.
As mentioned in the notes for "Leap Year," we have chosen the simpler pronunciation of the word "February."
