Blessings On This Day

This simple hymn conjures up images of folks standing in a congregation singing together on Thanksgiving Day. Indeed, the song was written with that day in mind, however, you will note that it does not mention it specifically. You could use it for other special days, too.

The recording for this tune features an arrangement for brass ensemble and is very nice. But the piano part is quite playable and would lend itself well to a live performance. Consider also using organ instead for a real hymn-like touch.
