Katy's Song

The incredible voice of Katy Gentry Hoyt has graced our recordings for many, many years. Katy first began singing with us when she was 11 years old. We knew instantly we had a star in our midst. When we heard recently that Katy would be moving away, we were heartbroken. Teresa wrote this song for her as a way of saying goodbye. Recording it was very emotional.

Fate stepped in, as it sometimes does, and things changed for Katy. She did not have to leave after all! We were thrilled, and have continued to use her as one of our core performers since then. Nonetheless, we think this song is just beautiful and we wanted you to hear it, and maybe even use it to feature your own talented soloist or choir.
