Mwa Ha Ha
by Teresa Jennings
If you just started to play the recording of this song, you would instantly know that it was a song for October. What else would have pipe organ, theremin, and... Boomwhackers®?? Yes, it's true. This haunting ditty not only lets your kids express their inner ghouls, it also lets them demonstrate how frighteningly talented they are playing Boomwhackers® (or other pitched percussion instruments in C).
And as if that isn't terrifying enough, there are plenty of opportunities for spoken solos. Let your little creatures listen to our little creatures on the recording to get an idea of the kinds of deliciously spine-chilling variations they can try, too.
At the end of it all, if there are any survivors, you might want to brace yourself for the blood-curdling Boomwhacker® applause and other ghoulish sounds. Or not. It's optional. But it's oh-so-much fun for the little goblins. Mwa ha ha!
