Take the Music K-8 magazines and remove the staples. Next, cut the magazines in half and three-hole punch all of the pages. Put the magazines in a three-ring binder. Place CDs in the binder in front of the magazine. Color-code the list of songs sheet and place in the back of the CD packet. All five issues from one volume fit nicely in a 1.5" binder. Each year, I buy a different colored binder so it is easy to see. Binders are labeled with volume number and year.
This method also makes it easy to take a page out and copy it. Special pages have sticky notes with labels sticking out to make it easy to find those favorite ideas or songs. The binders are located on a bookshelf next to my lesson plan book for easy planning.
