- Here's a little alligator sittin' on a log
- f f l l f f d, d, m m s s m
- Hold right hand in a puppet shape and bob up & down over left arm "log."
- In a little pool
- m m s s m
- Hold hands together like holding a mug.
- He sees a little frog
- d, f f l l f
- Hold hands over eyes like eyeglasses, and look from left to right on the beat.
- Down goes the alligator,
- f l l f f d, d,
- Both hands start high and go down.
- 'Round goes the log,
- m s s m
- Spin arms around each other.
- Splash! Goes the water and away swims the frog.
- D' d, d, d, d, d, d, d, r m f
- Splash! Goes the water (Both hands burst in the air) and away swims the frog (Swimming motion with both hands).
We do hand motions and get louder/softer and change the descriptive words to BIG alligator for louder, and TEENY alligator for softer. Of course, the motions get bigger or smaller as well. Then, we finish by only doing the motions. It keeps them very quiet!
