The kindergartners and I came up with some hokey but fun Halloween lyrics:

Halloween Stew, Halloween Stew,
What shall we put in our Halloween Stew?
Caramel apples, caramel apples,
That's what we'll put in the Halloween Stew.
(Options for subsequent verses: popcorn balls, candy corn, etc.)

This song can be used with any holiday. For example:

Easter Stew, Easter Stew,
What shall we put in our Easter Stew?
Chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, colored eggs, etc.
