My students love "Polar Puppy" (from Music K-8, Vol. 16, No. 2) so much that they keep asking to sing it, even as the year draws to a close. Since I always get asked for Kindergarten graduation music, I decided to do a little rewriting and make an easy-to-learn graduation song. It doesn't hurt that one of my schools has Bulldogs for a mascot, but I also use the song at my other school that has Wildcats for a mascot. We just "meow" instead of "woof." Both groups had a blast with it!
- "We're Done With Kindergarten"
- (to tune: Polar Puppy)
- (solo bark)
- (solo bark)
- Bulldog puppies, done with kindergarten.
- We're sunny. We're funny. We're done with kindergarten.
- Bulldog puppies, done with kindergarten.
- We're sunny. We're funny. We're done with kindergarten.
- Guess it's been a real good year. We really got to shine.
- We know we'll miss our old classroom. We had a real good time.
- Oh. Oh. (solo bark) Oh. Oh. (solo bark)
- Bulldog puppies, done with kindergarten.
- We're sunny. We're funny. We're done with kindergarten.

- Now we're ready for some fun. Won't summer ever come?
- We just can't wait to play outside. Vacation here we come.
- Oh. Oh. (solo bark) Oh. Oh. (solo bark)
