My school has adopted the Kids at Hope Philosophy, incorporating positive language into our classrooms. The students LOVED the beat and rhythms in the song "Feelin' Good" from Music K-8, Vol. 15, No. 1. I created lyrics for a school song that all Kindergarten-8th grade students will learn and perform at school assemblies and concerts.

I Am A Silver Hawk
Verse 1:
I am successful. I show respect.
I am a Kid at Hope. Yeah!
I am talented. I am supportive. (snap)
I am a Kid at Hope!
I wanna greet every morning with a smile on my face,
and feel like I'm ready for the day.
I wanna walk through my life with lots of goals and with grace,
and know that I'm always okay!
