Always have a plan B. If things aren't going well, you can't just run over and pull something off the shelf or get a different CD with children's favorites, etc. You must be prepared for the unexpected and expect the unexpected to happen. Also, be realistic in your plans. Some things simply must wait until you have a room again. All my mallet instruments are in storage this year. I am anxiously waiting next year when I have a room again. The students will be excited, too!
