A great way to store a large quantity of recorders is using an old card catalogue from the library. Several years ago, our library eliminated its card catalogue system, and I claimed this piece of furniture for my classroom. The long, skinny drawers are just the right size for storing recorders or cassette tapes. I keep up to 10 recorders in each drawer and have alphabetical labels on each drawer for the students in different classes to locate their own recorders.
