  1. Have the kids add American Sign Language (ASL) to a song with the word LOVE in it! Use ASL with songs about friends.
  2. A cool craft project to go with Valentine's Day - Take a metal hanger and bend it into a heart with the hook being in the middle of the top of the heart for a hanger. Cover the heart shape with tissue paper, let dry, and kids can decorate them. You can use a glue stick. We used school glue and they dried in about an hour!
  3. Make heart-shaped bean bags and use with songs.
  4. Toilet paper tubes can be decorated as shakers - glue on hearts and tissue paper streamers to the ends.
  5. Make a ribbon wand with paint sticks and streamer paper. Glue on hearts at the end of the streamers.
  6. Make water globes with a clear container - even a tic tac box would do. Fill with water and Valentine confetti. Glue on lid.
