Deck The Patch Rhythm Activity

Here is a fun rhythm activity we do with Deck The Patch:

SING: Deck the patch with orange and black
SING AND SNAP: Fa, la, la, la, la,.....
SING: Take along your goody sack
SING AND CLAP: Fa, la, la, la, la.........
SING: Don we now our glad apparel
SING AND PATSCH: Fa, la, la, la, la.......
SING: Troll the ancient Pumpkin carol
SING AND STAMP: Fa, la, la, la,.........

Repeat the same sequence for the second verse, then do the entire song again, but this time do NOT sing on the fa, la, la's.... just snap or clap or patsch or stamp them (ala inner hearing). Great for a morning wake-up or getting out some of those pesky afternoon wiggles!!
