Here's my favorite way to review the lines and spaces of the treble clef - my students love it. I use bulletin board paper to make a LONG (about 30') staff with a treble clef at the beginning. I then laminate it, roll it out on the floor, and have my students lie on their tummies in front of the staff. I then give each student a Keebler Rainbow Vanilla Wafer, this is their "whole note." I then call out "space note E," "line note F," etc. The students race against each other to see who can move their note to the correct spot the quickest.
It gives me an easy way to see who's "getting it," and gives students a non-threatening way to check their progress against their classmates. Of course, at the end of the lesson, they get to eat their note! After we learn our ledger lines, I use small strips of strawberry Twizzlers for their ledger lines - they also enjoy those.
