Question: Can An All-American Christmas be done without costumes, scenery, etc.?
Answer: Something I have done in the past was to get big refrigerator cardboard boxes and unfold them. The art teacher painted a scene on them for me many years in a row. One year our theme was "A Florida Christmas," and she painted The Skyway Bridge. I punched holes along the top of the bridge, pushed strings of little white lights through, and taped the cords on the back of the cardboard. Another year, she painted a beautiful Christmas tree and I "lit" it the same way with little multi-colored lights. After you turn the lights down, the stage takes on a magical feeling with the little lights shining.
