Well, I will say this... the worse the dress rehearsal is, the better the actual concert seems to go. I don't know why, but that's how it has been for my 18 years of music teaching. 🙂

When we combine classes for a grade-level performance, the other specials teachers come and provide behavior support so that I can concentrate on what is needed.

Does anyone have a catchy phrase or behavior management routine that works
well for stage rehearsals. It seems that focus goes way down when we need
it the most just before a concert.
