One warning for the class. Then, if you play with Silly Bandz / any o=
ther toy during my class, they "will go in my May box - where you may - or =
may not - get them back in June." [It used to be in May - but school goes i=
nto June this year.] Because, toys are not ok during class at our scho=
ol. And in my "May Box" - I have one thing so far this year. So, it works f=
or me.

I was wondering how long it was going to be before I would have to start

Today I had a very nice discussion with that third grade class that had the=

big problem within one of the teams during my observation this past Friday.=

Many students shared ideas on how to work out a difficulty like this if it=

ever came up again. They showed a lot of maturity with their ideas on=

working together better when we work in small groups to come up with a
pattern to play together or create something as a small group. I gues=
s I
don't do this enough with them. While we were having this discussion,=
one
of the students laid her silly bandz on the floor and was playing with them=

rather than joining or listening to our discussion. Incidently, this =
is the
same student who refused to participate LAST week. She's the "frequen=
t
flyer" in the principal's office too. Last year she stole from me as =
well.
I have her silly bandz now.
