My K-6 students really loved PULSE, STOMP, STOMP OUT LOUD, and STOMP LIVE, =
BLAST, and Blue Man Group (careful with that one, you have to pick and choo=
se which tracks to show for appropriateness). All winners. Also, in this =
discussion, I took out Fantasia 2000 for my primary grades (I forget my stu=
dents were born after it came out!), showed them the Beethoven No. 5, Rhaps=
ody in Blue, and the original Sorcerer's Apprentice, and the Pines of Rome.=
They loved it!! Dust that one off, there's no shame in it after the year=
we've had!!!

I'm trying to pace myself through exhausted, over-tested children and budge=
t-freaked out teachers. Lots of "freeze dance" works on those kinds of Fri=
days, too. I just had a circle of 2nd graders clapping and chanting while =
one kid did the worm in the middle of the circle and then the splits, chant=
ing, "Go, Jaydon, go, Jaydon!" and that's the stuff that they remember. I=
haven't had anyone complain yet about not having fun!

I have STOMP OUT LOUD and my kids love it...

I am looking for some ideas of different musicals to show my classes at the=
end of the year. I promised them they would be able to watch a movie for t=
he last two music classes. I teach k-7 so I am looking for good movies for =
all ages, they do not have to be the same. Any ideas?
