Our ND Music Educators is planning for the fall conference. We have
decided to bring in a presenter for Orff ideas, especially for beginning
teachers whose college professors have not spent much time on Orff, or
for those who just never got into the habits of using the Orff concepts.
I have been appointed to find a presenter for this and have no sources.
We have a limited budget, of course, and I need someone in the general
area of Grand Forks, ND (close to the Minnesota border) so the travel
expenses can be kept at a minimum. Anyone out there have good listings
of trained Orff specialists?? I'd love to get Julie Scott - I have heard
so much good about her, but I know the air flight from Texas would be
impossible to pay. We want someone who can present two different
sessions (1 hr. each) and then repeat them later in the day.
