Well, I'm done with my K-3 concert. We had our performance this
morning at 9:00am. We finished up with "Just One Candle." My little
second grade soloist had the parents just weeping!! It was wonderful!!

Right now, I'm off to have a quick bite to eat & then it's my 4-6
concert tonight at 7:00. Then all I have left is a field trip to see
the National Symphony Orchestra with the third grade tomorrow. (What?
Am I insane?) A concert "tour" with 3rd graders on Thursday (two
community service concerts at area retirement homes with lunch at
McDonalds in-between); and on Friday, my second graders will have
lunch at a local hamburger mecca, Fuddruckers, and then we'll sing at
another yet retirement home!

BTW: I ended up using the mini lights that come on key chains for
"Just One Candle." There was not another candle light to be found in
the entire Washington metropolitan area! The kids have to hold in a
tiny button on the key chain lights--so I didn't use it with my K-3.
I rehearsed it with 4-6 this morning. It looks awesome. But, will I
get all of my cute little lights back from the kids? Hmmmmmm.....

Ho! Ho! Ho! and a good night's sleep. Pray for me!
