Bridal Chorus (from Lohengrin)
From Plank Road Publishing
by Richard Wagner/arr. Paul JenningsThis well-known theme from Lohengrin would be a great way to open the door for a lesson on the life and work of Richard Wagner. Arranged for three recorders with orchestral accompaniment, part 1 is the more difficult and stays closest to the original melody, using notes low D to high E. Part 2 is much easier, using only G, A, B, and C. The alto part is fairly simple, too, and uses notes G to high G, including C#. (from Music K-8, Vol. 23, No. 5)
