Havin' A Bad Scare Day

From Plank Road Publishing

by Mike Wilson

This song pokes fun at the ever so popular vampire yarn. The poor vampire in our story wakes with the sun but feels no ill effects. He lurks around in broad daylight trying to scare people, but no one will take him seriously.

Musically, the song moves back and forth from scary orchestral verses to a Hee Haw-style country chorus. The optional second part for the chorus really adds to the flavor. The kit includes isolated rehearsal tracks for part 1 and part 2. (from Music K-8, Vol. 24, No. 1)

(Run time: 2:14)
