Cover, Please
From Plank Road Publishing
by David Ellsworth and Anne EllsworthHere's an important lesson. When a tissue is not handy, the next best way to prevent the spread of germs when you sneeze or cough is to cover by lifting your arm up to your face and covering your nose and mouth with the inside of your forearm or elbow. This song, geared toward your youngest students, suggests many movements and sound effects throughout, starting with coughing, sneezing, and throat clearing. Then, of course, it also offers plenty of chances to practice the covering techniques. (from Music K-8, Vol. 15, No. 3)
