While this great old humorous song is closely tied to the scouting movement, it actually got its start with the army. After all, the quartermaster is the officer who purchases and stocks things for soldiers' needs. Our adaptation includes six nonsense verses of what odd items are found in the quartermaster's store. After each set of three verses is a recurring lyrical chorus section.
