PROGRAM NOTES

"The Cactus Christmas Tree and Three Wee Winter Rounds" is a mini play/fun way for grades K-3 to present as part of your traditional holiday program.

Scenery: No scenery is needed. A sign may indicate "WAY OUT WEST" and the children may make appropriate artwork to pin to side curtains.

Cast: 30 narrators (can be less by doubling parts). Various animals including Gopher, Antelope, Beaver, Fox, Goat, Teddy Bear, more. Everybody sings!

Costumes: You may perform this play in everyday clothes. Or, you can add a western touch with bright bandanas and cowboy hats for the narrators. The animals may have colored leotards and t-shirts with their names.

Duration: 20 minutes
