This simple unison tune gives your students an opportunity to play Boomwhackers® and other percussion instruments. The melody stems from the old song, "The Noble Duke Of York," but that's where any similarity ends. The lyrics are written using a limerick approach, though deviating slightly from the traditional limerick formula.
The song plays through three times. The group sings the first time, Boomwhackers® play the second time, and both singers and Boomwhackers® join together the third time. Percussion instruments join in on verses two and three. (from Music K-8, Vol. 20, No. 4)
