Veggies Are Yummy

This very simple song can help you engage your young singers and introduce the concept of healthy eating. Set in a 2-beat march style complete with marching band on the recording, it is slow enough to allow your kids a chance to march around a bit. After all, movement is also healthy. During the "cheer" kids get to shout out the names of a few choice veggies. Add some pom-poms, and you have a cute performance piece. (from Music K-8, Vol. 20, No. 5)
