Goober Peas / The Goober Galop

Our arrangement of the Civil War era song "Goober Peas" features three of the original four verses, and it comes with a vaudville-style chaser, "The Goober Galop." And in case you're wondering, goober peas are boiled peanuts, a staple of the Confederate soldiers as the war wore on. (from Music K-8, Vol. 21, No. 1)
