Well, they don't get much sillier than this. But while "Somebody Stole My Cow!" offers lots of silly fun (kazoos and all), there is also a great opportunity here to have a lesson on the music of the 1920s. This song, of course, is a parody of Leo Wood's hit, "Somebody Stole My Gal."
Our accompaniment has a rhythm section that features the piano and banjo (and a slide whistle and cow sound effects, just in case it wasn't silly enough). You should definitely have your singers ham it up for this one. Kit includes two versions of a thrilling paper puppets video that go with this song. (from Music K-8, Vol. 21, No. 5)
