Everyone has an occasion to say "thank you" to someone at some time or another! Use this short 50's style song for Thanksgiving, or to say thanks to your principal, a teacher, an administrator, a cook, a custodian, PTA members, parents, veterans, emergency responders - you get the idea.

For added punch, have your students come up with hand/arm jives that spell out the words each time. For the letter U, they can point at the recipient of the sentiment. (from Music K-8, Vol. 6, No. 2)
