Jelly Bean Blues

This blues piece tells the sad story of a kid who has left jelly beans in his pocket too long. The vocal part is unison throughout and very simple. Meanwhile, it's the gloomy soloist who tells the actual tale of woe. The accompanying jazz orchestration is marvelous. (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 4)
