Michael Row The Boat Ashore

Our setting of this traditional song is reminiscent of the folk versions of the tune that came along by the middle of the 20th century. It features a fine group of acoustic instruments including guitar and harmonica. It includes five verses, and the last chorus has a simple 3-part treble option for the "Alleluia." The kit includes two separate sets of recordings, one with a simple folk ending and one with a bigger concert ending. (from Music K-8, Vol. 15, No. 5)
