Thank You

"Thank You" is a neat little song that you can use to simply say, well, "thank you!" Use it to thank a special group or individual, or to thank an audience for attending a show. The song itself is very straightforward: It has a fairly easy melody that your students will pick up quickly. There is also an optional second vocal part which is a simpler countermelody. This gives the second time through the song a little more pizzazz. The kit includes a part 2 rehearsal track.

The piece has a light swing feel, and the recording features a rhythm section, muted trombones, muted trumpets, horns, and clarinets. You might feel yourself wanting to break into a "soft shoe" dance. (from Music K-8, Vol. 15, No. 3)
