There's A Hole In The Bucket (Recorder)
arr. Paul JenningsThis selection is a fairly straightforward folk style arrangement of the great old cumulative folk song. The song itself requires recorder players to perform the notes low D, low E, G, A, and B. The arrangement goes through the tune twice and ends. For the recording we present a nicely layered rhythm section with guitars, mandolin, banjo, and acoustic bass. As the arrangement continues, they are joined by rich strings. And, there are two different recordings at different tempos – the fast one first and then the slower one. (from Music K-8, Vol. 26, No. 5)
