Everyone makes mistakes. You can't go back in time and change the past, but you can learn from what happened and move on. It's good advice, and it's the message of this song.

The song itself is easy to learn and enjoyable to sing. The light rock accompaniment on the recording features a rhythm section, alto sax, trombone, strings, and some truly awesome electric guitar licks. There is an optional second vocal part which is not too difficult and which adds some nice interest to the song. The kit includes a rehearsal track for part 2. (from Music K-8, Vol. 30, No. 4)
