A Collection Of Songs For Little Voices

These nine songs are sure to garner a few "awww's" from your audience. Equally usable for performances or in the classroom, the songs have easy-to-remember lyrics and many lend themselves to movement. To make the collection even more versatile, a short script (one stanza per song) is provided to connect the songs together. Includes:

The Muffin Man - We've taken this traditional children's favorite and rocked it up for your primary kids. The arrangement has three verses. The first two are call and response, and the third verse is the bring-it-on-home declaration.
I Want To Go Outside - This unison song can be sung even by your youngest students. The essence of the lyrics is pretty basic – going outside is fun. And it matters little if there is green grass or snow on the ground. It's still joyful.
How Do You Do? - It's never too early to learn to be polite when first meeting someone. Indeed, these very words, "How do you do? It's very nice to meet you," are words that can serve an entire lifetime. To make it especially easy to learn, we have set it to music, made it bouncy and fun, and even included some rhythmic punctuation with claps.
Honey Bee - Honey bees are fascinating little creatures. This short, simple song won't take a lot to learn or remember. The same easy words are used the first and third times through. Kids sing "bzz" syllables the second time through, or (optionally) you could let them play kazoos.
It's Gonna Be Alright - This little song of hope is targeted toward a younger group, but the message is universal. It's simple, short, and in unison.
Five Green And Speckled Frogs - This fun-loving children's song that gained popularity in the late 19th century is easy and repetitive, acting as a story that teaches the concept of subtraction. Through five almost identical verses, singers subtract one as each frog jumps into the pool.
I Am A Beam Of Sunlight - This short, very simple song is perfect for your youngest singers. The lyrics are easy and predictable, which also makes them easy to remember. It's a nice reminder that, as the saying goes, we carry our own sunshine inside.
Dreams, Dreams - The easygoing, retro rock style of this song is light and catchy, and above all, simple. It can be sung by your youngest students, and the lyrics remind us that we all have dreams, big and small.
Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall - Super cute in a performance, this little swing tune would also be right at home in your classroom. It's very simple, not too long, and repeats logically. There's even a snappy showbiz ending and an included choreography video.
