Be My Valentine

This is a short and simple partner song for your younger classes. As with all partner songs, each part is quite singable by itself, and is introduced independently at first. The two melodies are then combined for a wonderful harmonious effect without a great deal of difficulty.

The last time through the chorus, you will note that there is a bit of a pause while the countermelody plays "Let Me Call You Sweetheart." Be sure you point this out to your students!

Side two of the P/A Cassette includes two different synthesizer sounds playing the two melodies so that your young students can follow along with their own parts with some security until they learn the song.
