I've made the most profit in one week by selling nachos and Kool-Aid after school. I bought one big can of cheese from Wal-Mart for $2, which makes two Crock-Pots of nacho cheese when mixed with water. I also bought a case of Kool-Aid (little bottles), $2 for 24.

I've done a great fund-raiser with Classic Cookie Dough, $5000 each of the last two years. It's the best stuff you've ever tasted, compared with other companies. My K-4 kids sold it.

The week before our lemonade sale, the students make signs and post them all around the campus, even in the bathrooms! Since I have a lemon tree, I provide the lemons. I have the students squeeze the lemons before school and have others pour in the water and sugar. We chill it in the school cafeteria refrigerator before recess and sell it at recess for 50 cents a big cup and 25 cents a small cup. After school, the students total up and deduct the costs of the cups and the sugar. I also make the the students wash out the jugs.

During the sale there are student line helpers who check to see if the children have money, pourers who pour the lemonade, servers who pass out the cups, and money takers.
