This old favorite, arranged here with a rich, dramatic orchestration, works extremely well for recorders. In this case, it is set for two soprano recorders and an optional alto recorder. Actually, you can use just part 1, which includes the notes G, A, B, C, and high D. The second part is more accurate to the melody, but it adds high and low E to the mix. The alto recorder part works well for beginning alto recorder players. Use what works best for you! (from Music K-8, Vol. 19, No. 2)
