Jolly Old Canon In D - Choral
From Plank Road Publishing
adapted/arr. Teresa JenningsBased on her sense of keen observation and grasp of the incredibly obvious, Teresa has finally decided to give in to marrying the two pieces, Pachelbel's "Canon in D" and the traditional Christmas tune, "Jolly Old St. Nicholas." The result, as you might imagine, is a lighthearted homage to the old fellow in red, who thankfully has a good sense of humor. Though the arrangement is written with 3-part mixed voicing, allowing older, changing, and changed voices to shine, it could also be used as a 2-part piece, in case that makes Santa more jolly at your school or church.
Our Plank Road Publishing octavos save you the time spent copying and binding and come in the convenient octavo size (7.0" x 10.25") used by choirs. (Please note: These octavos are NOT reproducible.)
