From Themes & Variations

This collection features more great jazz and blues songs from Susie Davies-Splitter and Phil Splitter. These nine songs use many different jazz and blues elements such as call and response, scat singing, improvisation, rhythm and blues, bossa nova, calypso, 5/4 time, 7/4 time, and syncopation. Orff arrangements are included for five of the songs. Reproducible vocal parts and a Performance/Accompaniment CD are included. This collection is suitable for a choir or for a classroom.
